THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Community Recreation Supervisor, the Level II Gymnastics Coach identifies strengths and weaknesses of athletes. They plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions. They nurture and develop athletes' potential skills and abilities. The Level II Gymnastics Coach develops, plans and coordinates competitive schedules and programs. They motivates and prepares athletes for competitive events.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
\n
High School diploma and some years of experience in coaching
\n
Current National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Level 1 and 2 in Women’s Gymnastics
\n
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
\n
High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development certificate
\n
Experience In coaching gymnastics In planning, developing and implementing training and practice sessions In preparing athletes or teams for competitive events
\n
Competencies

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSEnglish Essential
