Qualfications
• Graduate of an accredited medical radiological technology program.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
• Five years recent experience in performing general radiological / Diagnostic Imaging procedures including two years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid BC driver's license.
Skills and Abilities:
• Management: Demonstrated ability to organize work, set objectives and establish priorities. Manages time and resources, implements activities to promote cooperation among the interdisciplinary team, supervises responsibilities of others, and collaborates across disciplines.

Hours: Position Summary
Are you a registered Lead Technologist, Medical Imaging looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Medical Imaging department.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position is accountable for the administration, supervision, planning and budgeting of the department. This position advises on budgets, workload, labour relations and personnel. Responsible for interpreting and implementing all institutional regulations, policies and procedures as they apply to Diagnostic Imaging services. Ensures standards for Diagnostic Imaging staff are consistent with regulatory, accrediting body standards and relevant legislation. Provides clinical guidance to designated Diagnostic Imaging staff practicing in the facility. Advises HSA on matters regarding Diagnostic Imaging practices.
