With over 4 years of experience in Indigenous consultation, you’ll guide assessments and strategies that align with reconciliation goals.
Your work will foster collaboration with Indigenous Nations, enhancing mutual advantages and trust while driving compliance and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and lead Indigenous engagement consultation programs
• Conduct Indigenous Interests Assessments per FPIC guidelines
• Support Traditional Land Use studies and mitigation strategies
• Integrate Indigenous perspectives into environmental projects
• Mentor junior consultants and enhance internal capacities
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
• 4+ years in Indigenous engagement or consultation
• Proven experience with Indigenous Nations in BC or Canada
• Robust skills in regulatory frameworks and technical writing
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Canada
