Education, Professional Experience, Certifications and Skills required: 5–10 years of relevant experience in buy‑side, sell‑side equity research, or investment banking. A university degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or CFA designation (or progress toward one) strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in developing original investment theses and conducting fundamental, bottom‑up analysis. Deep understanding of financial statements, industry dynamics, and valuation methodologies. Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present investment ideas persuasively. Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or FactSet. A collaborative mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment. Working Conditions Work in a standard office‑based environment In addition to French, the successful candidate must also have sufficient knowledge of English, as the work involves interacting and collaborating regularly with groups and individuals based in Toronto, as well as constantly interacting with other people, including clients, who speak English, locally and elsewhere.
