TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting an ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (INSTRUMENTATION) for an opportunity in the Greater Medicine Hat Area in an Operating Plant environment. Qualified candidates are encouraged to APPLY with their personal resume through: Job Responsibilities Coordinate instrumentation, control systems, and electrical projects across all stages of the project Develop, design and modify PLCs, safety PLCs (SIS), DCS, electrical systems, and field devices for projects. Size, select, procure, install, and commission equipment. Maintain database, specification sheets, and electrical drawings. Resolve plant issues related to instrumentation, electrical, and control/safety systems. MOC and MCMP procedures to manage plant changes and project progression. Engage in hazard meetings, reliability initiatives, and root cause analysis. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in industrial controls, electrical engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in control systems, instrumentation, and electrical design. Registered Qualified Engineer (P.Eng) with APEGA or eligible for registration. Experience with valve and instrument sizing software, Triconex and DeltaV systems, and Microsoft Office Suite is an asset Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices is required.
