Required Experience

Responsibilities
Assist with landscape construction/installation tasks including fencing, brickwork, grading, planting, and mulching
Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
Perform excavation work for planting beds, drainage systems, or other landscape features
Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including setting forms and pouring concrete if needed
Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Conduct routine inspections of landscape features and perform basic repairs or adjustments as required
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Experience
Prior experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators is a plus
Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping techniques, or construction practices is advantageous
Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is beneficial
Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions is essential
Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn current skills related to landscape construction and maintenance
