Required Experience

job phlebotomy training provided by APL at no cost, and formal training courses offered by SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) or NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). The costs associated with these formal training courses will be your responsibility. You will be required to complete these training requirements within your probationary period, as per the Health Sciences Association of Alberta (HSAA) collective agreement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 2 yrs experience in a healthcare setting. Familiar with Clinitek Advantus. Experience with Muse and Cardioday. Experience with Epic Beaker. Current registration with CSMLS. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Good organizational skills and ability to assume responsibility. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and promote teamwork. Receptive to new ideas and change. Urinalysis training including recent macro and micro u/a experience.
