Language: bed hospital in the city of Brockville, which is 45 minutes from Kingston and an hour from Ottawa. Brockville General is the largest hospital in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville County, serving a catchment area of 250,000. Located in the beautiful Thousand Islands Region, we are the perfect place to practice and play as evidenced in Imagine Brockville Life. The practice environment is comprised of 52+ acute medicine beds (which increase when surge spaces are utilized) and 54 rehabilitation beds with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapy, rehabilitation therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, social work, dieticians, discharge planning, and wound care. Hours: certified in Internal Medicine (FRCPC) and have Independent Practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Proficiency in English is required. Subspecialties will be considered. Remuneration Internists receive fee for service plus additional Hospital On Call Coverage (HOCC). When acting as a Hospitalist, Internists receive $1,800 per day for core hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) plus fee for service outside of these hours and HOCC. #J
