The Client Care/Intake Coordinator is the initial point of contact for individuals, couples and families who wish to access counselling services at the agency.
\n
Given the 3 year duration, Group Health Benefits and RRSP matching will be provided for this temporary role

Requirements
\n· Bachelor’s degree ideally within a human and/or social services discipline(s); will also consider Child and Youth Care (CYC), Child and Youth Worker (CYW), or Social Service Worker (SSW) diploma with direct, relevant client experience. Registration with the Ontario College of Psychotherapy or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers is considered an asset)\n
· Minimum of one year administrative experience
\n
· Demonstrated experience providing services to clients, including the at risk and vulnerable populations sectors
\n
· Working knowledge of general software applications/databases, especially EMHware.
\n
· Ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Police Reference Check
\n
Skills/Competencies
\n· Exceptional client service delivery skills\n
· Superior interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
\n
· Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products and computer skills in general
\n
· Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills
\n
· Resourcefulness and the ability to take initiative
\n
· Excellent attention to detail
\n
· Proficiency in French Language Skills an asset
\n
· Knowledge of EMHware and/or Quickbooks Online an asset
\n
Job Duties:
\n· Conduct comprehensive intake assessments\n
· Complete all intake administrative procedures for client intake
\n
· Coordinate and schedule ongoing client appointments and provide continued support and care to active clients.
\n
· Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards.
\n
· Collaborate with internal team members and external service providers to coordinate care, including consultation and referrals to community resources as needed.
\n
· To participate in presentations and group sessions within the community.
\n
· To contribute to the development of annual program goals and objectives.
\n
· To submit monthly reports required by Ministries for funded programs.
\n
· Provide administrative and operational support to the Counselling Manager and Finance Lead to ensure timely and accurate reporting
\n
· Participate actively in individual and peer supervision to support professional growth.
\n
· Uphold professional and ethical standards of practice, exercising sound clinical judgment, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
\n
· Based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, there may be opportunities to facilitate therapeutic groups and deliver psychoeducational presentations in alignment with evidence
