Required Experience

Adheres to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, quality management, and quality assurance.

Education and Experience:
· Trade certification in Ontario in a relevant discipline is preferred.
· Registered apprentices in positive standing with the Ontario College of Trades will also be considered.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Knowledge of safe working techniques and practices.
· Knowledge of and ability to use machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, band saws, and grinders.
· Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, manuals, and schematic drawings.
· Ability to troubleshoot/inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions and provide solutions.
· Ability to operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes and jacks.
· Ability to work independently.
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
Salary Range: $72,801
