Indigenous Rookie League is a community program where youth from founding communities learn, grow, and build confidence through sport. Through practices, games, tournaments, and shared experiences, youth strengthen leadership, teamwork, and cultural pride while forming meaningful connections. IRL brings communities together, supports active lifestyles, fosters belonging, and creates summer memories. We look forward to our young athletes stepping up to the plate this season.\n
Position Description
Reporting to the Sports and Recreation Manager, the Indigenous Rookie League Program Coordinator plans and delivers summer programming (May–August) within the Youth & Family Wellness Camp, supporting youth leadership, wellness, and community connection through sport. The Coordinator works with Band Offices, schools, volunteers, and Right To Play to support program delivery and coaching, and serves as a positive role model for youth, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.\n

Hourly Rate: $24.00/Hour (40/week) + End of Summer Bonus; $1.00 for every hour worked if contract is completed
