About This Opportunity: Hydrovac Operator (Cumberland)

Required Experience

• We have the newest fleet of HydroVac trucks on Vancouver Island. Our trucks use pressurized water and a vacuum system to excavation around sensitive underground utilities including: water, sewer, storm, gas, and hydro. Experience running Hydrovac or Vacuum Trucks would be an asset but not mandatory. Previous experience in civil utility construction would be a huge asset. A Class 1 drivers license with air brakes preferred. A class 3 drivers license with air brakes is required. Preference will be given to hard working individuals with a positive attitude. This positions allows you to be home each night 98% of the time. We offer competitive wages and an attractive benefits program. A clean driving record and the ability to perform basic maintenance on the trucks is required. This is a full time job, with some weeks being less than 40hrs while others will require overtime. Position Details

• Employment Type: clearing, subdivision development, multifamily site servicing, new home foundation excavation, environmentally sensitive projects such as riverbank and beachfront armouring, and road building. We specialize in the installation and repair of underground utilities including: water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, electrical, and telecommunication ducting. Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $30.00
