We are currently seeking a HSE Manager to join our dynamic team and be based in our Alberta office. This role is crucial in ensuring our health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to across all Canadian job sites. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for safety, drive initiatives that enhance safety culture, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct COR internal audits and be a resource for external audits.
· Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that comply with industry regulations and company standards.
· Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
· Respond to and investigate safety incidents, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.
· Deliver safety training and education programs to employees at all levels, ensuring understanding and compliance.
· Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and execution.
· Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and report findings to senior management.
· Stay current with industry best practices and legislative changes, making recommendations to improve safety programs.
· Act as a resource for employees regarding safety concerns and questions.
· Maintain companies profiles in Avetta, Complyworks and ISNetworld.
Requirements
· NCSO, Safety Management, with trade (plumbing, gas fitting, or HVAC) experience.
