What the ideal candidate will have: 8+ years of experience in HR roles, ideally in fast‑growing technology companies Experience working in scaling or startup environments is strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field (Master Degree is a plus) CHRP Designation (an asset) Experience supporting distributed or remote teams is an asset Experience working in technology companies (ideally web) Strong experience in technical recruiting Experience contributing to the development or implementation of HR foundations in scaling organizations (performance management processes, HR policies, compensation practices, etc.) Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring managers and guiding managers through complex people situations Very strong communication skills Solid emotional intelligence and listening skills Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution Thrive in fast‑moving startup environments Key Responsibilities Build the Recruiting Engine Partner with leadership to support hiring needs across engineering, product, and business teams Partner with leadership to support hiring priorities and workforce planning Implement structured interview frameworks and candidate evaluation systems Train hiring managers to become strong interviewers Develop pipelines for AI engineers, software developers, product managers, and growth talent Strengthen employer brand to attract world‑class candidates Coach, Mentor, and Develop Managers Provide one‑on‑one coaching to managers on leadership, communication, and team management Mentor junior managers on how to lead high‑performing technical teams Feedback and performance conversations Team motivation and engagement Delegation and accountability Support managers in navigating complex people dynamics within teams Support the development of manager training and leadership practices Act as a trusted sounding board for managers facing difficult leadership situations Conflict Management and Team Health Support managers in preventing and resolving interpersonal conflicts Provide guidance on difficult conversations and sensitive team situations Mediate when necessary to help teams resolve issues effectively Help establish clear expectations around respectful collaboration and communication Build frameworks that allow teams to address issues early before they escalate Build the HR Infrastructure Establish core HR processes to support a growing organization Implement a structured performance review process Develop initial compensation and levelling guidelines as the company scales Design onboarding processes that support distributed teams Create HR policies, documentation and internal HR processes Introduce basic HR metrics and reporting to support leadership decisions Strengthen Culture and Employee Experience Reinforcing leadership principles and company values Supporting employee engagement and retention initiatives Creating programs that support professional growth Ensuring managers are equipped to build healthy, productive teams Why Join Us?
