The Opportunity As Hospital Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Managing DVM to lead the hospital’s day‑to‑day operations and long‑term success. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, the support to grow as a leader, and the ability to influence both culture and performance. Reporting to the Manager of Regional Operations, you’ll balance people leadership with operational excellence—ensuring the hospital runs smoothly, efficiently, and with purpose. What You’ll Do Support, coach, and develop team members in a thoughtful and approachable way Partner with the Managing DVM on hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring a well‑organized and supportive work environment Help manage scheduling, payroll, and budgeting with care and attention to detail Foster a positive, inclusive culture where every team member feels heard and respected Support client experience, including addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism Contribute to community outreach and initiatives that strengthen local connections What You Bring Experience supporting and guiding teams in a collaborative environment A calm, thoughtful approach to leadership and problem‑solving Strong organizational and communication skills The ability to balance operational needs with a people‑first mindset A genuine care for both people and the animals they serve Nice to Have Experience in veterinary, healthcare, dental, or hospitality settings Exposure to scheduling, payroll, or budgeting responsibilities Familiarity with PIMS, Ceridian Dayforce, or MS Office tools Why UVH At UVH, leadership is about service.
