Employment Type: *This employment prospect is restricted to Nunavut Inuit who reside in Rankin Inlet only.**
\nReporting to the Supervisor, Home and Community Care will assist clients in activities of household management according to an established client care plan, helping clients to maintain independence and functioning in their home environment. The Home and Community Care Worker I (HCCW I) will be in frequent contact with the client and family and provide a key link to observe the client’s condition and any changes in their support network. The HCCW I will report any observed changes in the client’s condition to the Supervisor.\n
The HCCW I will ensure all client, family and program information, records and communication are treated with strict confidentiality. You will carry out client care and/or service plans; prepare nourishing meals and special diets as required including planning means with the client and grocery shopping as required. You will perform light housekeeping duties; assist in activities of daily living, and light laundry mending of clothing.
