Become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer focused on helicopter inspections and repairs. Help maintain provincial aircraft to ensure safety while complying with established aviation regulations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, this role encompasses thorough inspections, maintenance, and certification of helicopter operations. Candidates ideally hold an AME License (M1 and/or M2) and must have relevant training. Duties include performing quality assurance checks and collaborating with team members to ensure essential repairs meet high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and service department rotary wing aircraft
• Certify work performed in accordance with regulations
• Maintain hangar and work areas to high standards
• Review and check work of junior engineers
• Conduct random quality assurance assessments
Requirements:
• AME License from Transport Canada required
• Training program completion must be verified
• Class 5 Driver’s License is essential
• Willingness to relocate within province necessary
• Previous experience with WinAir or similar software a plus
