Required Experience

Boone Diesel is looking to hire an experienced full time HD Mechanic.
We are a rapidly growing shop and in need of a dedicated experience mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities would include:
· Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance to diesel engines, transmission, differentials, electrical/electronics, hydraulic systems, and other service work as required
· Work diligently to meet deadlines
· Perform all levels of preventative maintenance on the fleet trucks/trailers/tractors
· Working with various electronic diagnostic tools
· Complete written work orders
· Other mechanical repair work and duties as required
· Maintain a clean safe workplace
· Communicate with parts consultant to determine pricing and availability on parts needed
· Solid organizational, problem solving, attention to detail and critical thinking
Job Responsibilities would include:
· Class 5, asset Class 3
· Must have own tools
· Experience completing DOT safety inspections (CVIP)
· Basic computer skills
· Ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and written to Senior management
· Proven self
