Description: Major Job Functions Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations) Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Providing support with reference to in office safety requirements Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment Specific Skills & Experience Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification Clean Drivers Abstract (5 yr) Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be beneficial Transmission or Hydraulic testing experience Previous gas engine and power generation experience wouldbe considered an asset Key Details: 7 x 7 Continuous Shift based in Elkford, BC Must reside in the Valley, no camp or accommodations provided A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable At Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
