Your current role In your new role, you will be responsible for: contributing to the planning and design of healthcare facilities from early concept through construction documentation and construction administration, translating clinical and operational requirements into functional, effective, and patientfocused design solutions.
The role involves developing space planning, test fits, and layouts that support clinical adjacencies, infection control, and staff workflows, as well as preparing detailed drawings and documentation using Revit in coordination with consultants and internal teams.
You will collaborate closely with clients, user groups, clinicians, and project stakeholders throughout all project phases, ensuring designs align with Alberta Health Services (AHS) guidelines, Alberta Infrastructure standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
The position also supports design presentations, user group meetings, and client reviews, and assists during construction by responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings as required.
What you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will possess a minimum of 5 years of project work experience (healthcare experience required) and impressive design skills.
You will be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch
Up and other design software.
Proven experience as project lead on small to medium
