Position Details

Hours: aides/confirmation/. Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program who have successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum; and are either in their 1st year of practical nursing program; or 2nd year of baccalaureate nursing or psychiatric nursing program will be considered. Must attest to this compliance and provide proof of qualification.
Must hold current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and be able to provide proof of such certification. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Actively integrates Patient and Family Centered Care principles into practice. Excellent communication skills in order to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team and accept direction as required.
