Nursing students currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program who have successfully completed a minimum of 100 hours of practicum; and are either in their 1st year of practical nursing program; or 2nd year of baccalaureate nursing or psychiatric nursing program will be considered. Must attest to this compliance and provide proof of qualification.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Must have a good work ethic, be patient and willing to work in a team environment. Be experienced with dementia and Alzheimer care. Have MAP training and computer skills. Have a valuable working knowledge in safe lifting and transferring as well as safe handling of residents when using lifts. Be punctual and accountable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Connect care Training ā Continuing Care Facility Living Health Care Aide ILT. Active directory status on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
