Required Qualifications:
Active or eligible for registration or practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) as a Health Care Aide, along with proof of education or completion of Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months of hire.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) years of HCA experience within last three (3) years in an acute inpatient surgical nursing unit. You must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time. You will be required to lift, bend and push a variety of weights while maintaining safe body mechanics stipulated by AHS It’s Your Move patient handling program.
