Reports to: Facilities Manager
Duties:
Assist with cutting, sanding, and assembling wood products by handling materials, components, and finished products with precision and care
Support setup and removal of materials and workstations within the art studio
Assist with property maintenance and basic repairs as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace throughout the shop and studio
Load, unload, and move materials, including lifting items up to 75 lbs
Operate various hand tools and power tools to support manufacturing tasks and equipment maintenance
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working workplace for yourself and colleagues
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve workflow efficiency
Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Perks: After 3 months, will receive Medical, Drug, Dental and Vision coverage, plus Life, LTD and AD&D; insurance.
Requirements / Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a workshop, construction, or general labor role is an asset
Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing manual tasks throughout the day
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a creative, hands
