About the role
You will be responsible for successfully completing all required training, and acquiring and demonstrating your capability to competently perform all required tasks in a protected manner in order to advance to Miner 2 at Evolution Mining Red Lake Operation. This role is to recruit for an existing vacancy.
The position will be on a 14 days on and 14 days off roster and will be based residentially in Red Lake, Ontario.
We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $103,973 to $140,669 CAD.
Key result areas in this role include:
Perform duties with skills acquired as Miner 4, 5 and 6.
Train and successfully demonstrate ability to operate and obtain required licensing (e.g. forklift, torches, and various mining equipment).
Perform tasks as directed under the direction of supervisor.
Consistently work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Comply with all safety procedures.
Wear all required personal protective equipment.
Observe experienced workers to gain and increase knowledge of methods, procedures, and performance standards.
Report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
Work in a healthy work environment with full support, cooperation and commitment to satisfy our operation’s goal of being accident

About you
It is important that you have/ can demonstrate:
Able to competently perform all skills progressively acquired to the level of Miner 4
Ability to read and understand mining prints and shoot lines
Good physical fitness with the ability to work in an underground environment
Competent communication abilities
Contribute to overall success of the team
Flexible, and willing to work on a rotational shiftwork basis
Hard working and conscientious
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and interact with others
Willing and able to follow instructions
Self motivated
Willing to share knowledge and experienced with others
Able to work effectively alone and in a team environment
