Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble Gabagool sandwiches and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy hours
Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive dining experience
Handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
Assist with food handling, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures diligently
Maintain accurate cash register operations and perform basic math calculations for transactions
Experience
Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Solid time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in a restaurant setting
Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is advantageous
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
