Summary
'We are seeking a dedicated Taekwondo Instructor to join Endurance Taekwondo in Port Moody. Based in our local community, you will play a vital role in inspiring students and fostering their personal growth through martial arts.'
Responsibilities
Lead positive and engaging Taekwondo classes for students of various ages and skill levels.
Foster a positive and respectful workplace that encourages personal development.
Promote core values such as confidence, discipline, and respect.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to support student growth.
Help community events and demonstrations to showcase student achievements.'
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience leading Taekwondo classes (required).
Rank: Minimum 1st Dan Kukkiwon Black Belt.
Safety: Current First Aid/CPR C certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Clearance: Must pass a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
Soft Skills: High energy, loud/transparent voice, and the ability to command a room of children with kindness and authority.
Schedule Note:
This position requires availability during peak class times (weekdays 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM).
