Required Experience

bed Residential Withdrawal Management facility, you will conduct patient assessments and provide counselling in the Emergency Department when necessary. As a critical member of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure seamless patient care through collaboration and effective crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual counselling sessions to clients
• Complete CIWA, COWS, and other addiction assessments
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups for patient support
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques as needed
• Liaise with community partners for patient referrals
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 with Humanities education or equivalent
• Basic CPR and First Aid certifications required
• Addictions Counselor certification considered an asset
• 6 months of healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of pharmacology and medications beneficial
