Reporting to the Marina Director, the Front Desk Attendants are key players in serving the Marina’s clientele. Their role is essential to the smooth delivery of services and to ensuring member and visitor satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Welcome clients and provide general information
Answer phone calls and take messages
Provide clients with regulatory documentation and tourist information
Collect visitor fees and handling charges
Prepare bank deposits
Complete handling forms, pontoon change requests, liability waivers (for handling operations), and visitor forms
Maintain the inventory of employee clothing
Update client files
Take visitor reservations
Complete lock control forms (reservations)
Ask questions, clarify and explain information, and communicate details to clients
Support the supervisor and other team members with various assignments
Perform any other related duties
DESIRED PROFILE
Requirements
A few months of experience in similar roles
Strong command of spoken and written French
Strong command of spoken and written English
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Robust priority management and organizational skills
Ability to alternate between multiple tasks
Robust customer service orientation
Assets
Knowledge of the maritime environment
