Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Physically capable to lift food, supplies and equipment up to 46lbs and must be able to push/pull meal carts up to 250lbs. This position requires you to walk and stand on your feet for the duration of your shift.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Food service in health care experience is an asset. Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively Demonstrated reliability, cooperation, and professionalism in both appearance and work habits. Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. Knowledge of safe food handling practices and routine sanitation procedures. Strong motor coordination and manual dexterity. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to departmental guidelines and standards. Physically fit to meet the demands of the role. Ability to follow simple instructions and interpret basic calculations or drawings. Successful completion of a literacy test as required by department policy. Excellent attendance record, with reliability and personal suitability verified through employment history and references. Basic proficiency in computer applications and related technology.
