About the Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the servicing, maintenance, and repair of a diverse fleet including:\n
Road vehicles
Trucks and trailers
Earthmoving equipment
The workshop currently consists of approximately 10 staff, including one apprentice and a team of fully qualified mechanics.\n
You will provide day‑to‑day leadership, direction, and support to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 workshop staff
Oversee workflow to ensure jobs are completed on time and within schedule
Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance across a varied fleet
Support and mentor an apprentice mechanic
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workshop organisation
Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding fleet requirements and job priorities
Provide technical guidance when required
About You
Strong mechanical knowledge across heavy vehicles and plant equipment
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Solutions‑focused with strong problem‑solving skills
