Required Experience

Analyze and review acquisition requests and create projects in the system while ensuring compliance with our internal policies. Responsible for certain monthly, quarterly, and annual SOX controls related to the tasks under your supervision. Analyze lease contracts to determine accounting procedures and record monthly entries.

Prepare quarterly variance analyses and provide appropriate explanations. Coordinate the inventory count of our assets in collaboration with various stakeholders and ensure that our objectives are met. Prepare various management reports (support for finance/management/tax teams).

Understand and apply accounting and corporate rules concerning fixed asset management. Participate in various continuous improvement projects. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

A CPA designation (or one in the process of being obtained) is considered an asset. At least 3 years of experience in a related field. Excellent command of Excel. Knowledge of SAP would be an asset. Knowledge of Power BI or interest in developing this skill (an asset).

Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English. Valuable planning and organizational skills. The drive to attain continuous improvement in task execution.
