Title and Location
Family Physician – Primary Care Centre. Successful applicants eligible for a 0.2 FTE medical lead. Contract: 0.4 FTE (approximately 672 hours/year). Location: n.St’at’imc Nations – Lillooet, BC (may include on‑reserve services).
Responsibilities
The Family Physician (GP) will practice with cultural humility, providing primary care in a culturally secure, team‑based setting. The role includes recognizing the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of clients and families to deliver whole‑person care in compliance with BC health regulations and standards. Travel with the team on Fridays to the six community sites is required.
About You
Passionate about supporting First Nations individuals and families on their health and wellness journeys.
Has an active practicing license in positive standing with the College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC).
Has training in Cultural Safety & Humility or is willing to take such training.
Ideally has experience working with First Nations people and communities and providing culturally safe care.
Possesses a current valid driving license and is willing to travel to the seven sites across the Fraser Salish region.
Compensation and Perks
Clinical Service Contract. Full‑scope range placement: $290,842–$363,552, subject to scope of services. Additional Rural Retention Program Premium of 13.97%. Salary is scaled to FTE with potential additional remuneration for relocation and recruitment incentives.
