Required Experience

hour Emergency Department and 2 long term care homes in the Town. All Creston GP's provide routine clinical care within the practices of their medical clinic, and provide approximately 1:11 on call emergency services. Acute patient services at CVH include GP Surgery/Anesthesia/Low Risk Obstetrics, inpatient services, and Dialysis. Local Diagnostics are provided through laboratory services, imaging, ultrasound. Support departments at the hospital include pharmacy, dietary, physiotherapy and occupational therapy as well as other ancillary services. The Hospital also hosts visiting specialists to limit patient travel.
In association with the UBC Medical School, two of our clinics support students and residents, completing their rural component of their training and the students speak highly of their experiences with us.

Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income
Approx 450,000. Please note this is based on a 1.0 position in the emergency department. Compensation may vary.
Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP);Eligible for licensure with CPSBC;Doctorate in Medicine;Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory;Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS);Emergency experience;ATLS
