Job Description Job Title: IT Support Technician Location: Central Alberta Job Type: Fulltime Job Description Pidherneys Inc. is seeking a fulltime IT Support Technician to support and improve our IT environment.
This role blends operational support with project work across endpoints, identity and security, virtualization and servers, and core networking.
Key Responsibilities Support and maintain Windows 11 endpoints Support iOS and Android devices in a managed workplace Perform endpoint imaging, provisioning, and lifecycle management Administer MDM / UEM platforms Support Microsoft 365 and Azure services Work with identity, access, and security controls including MFA and Zero Trust Support virtualization platforms and Windows Server 2022/2025 and Linux systems Configure and troubleshoot LAN, WLAN, VPNs, VLANs, and network segmentation Create documentation, training materials, and user guidance Use Power
Shell and automation tools to improve operational efficiency Qualifications Handson experience and/or recent formal education in IT, systems administration, networking, or a related field Exposure to Level 2 support, infrastructure troubleshooting, or project work is an asset Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and support end users Willingness to adopt and responsibly use modern tools, including AIassisted tools Additional Requirements Reside in Central Alberta Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds What We Offer Competitive wage and benefits package Opportunities for advancement and skill growth How to Apply
