We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in the role of Forestry Thinning Operator. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating heavy equipment—specifically compact excavators—and capable of working independently in agile outdoor environments.

Responsibilities*
Operate a compact excavator equipped with a mulching head or shear for forestry thinning activities.
Perform basic tree identification as required.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of all equipment at all times.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to maintain optimal machine performance.
Follow all safety regulations, protocols, and company procedures on job sites.
Qualifications & Experience*
Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and minor equipment issues.
Basic tree identification skills.
Additional Details*
Daily travel allowance provided for this position.
