As part of a joint venture with ATKINS Réalis and Aecon, CanAtom is seeking a skilled Environmental Lead to oversee environmental performance and project execution. You will develop and monitor vital plans for environmental and waste management, ensuring compliance with ISO requirements. This role requires robust experience and leadership within both field and office environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage environmental management and waste strategies
• Oversee Environmental Management System efficiencies
• Evaluate environmental program implementation and performance
• Conduct field inspections and prepare compliance documentation
• Advise on environmental risks and secure necessary permits
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or management
• Minimum 5 years of environmental management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software
• Ability to perform fieldwork and climb
• OPG security clearance is an asset
