Lead energy management initiatives as an Energy Specialist. Utilize technical knowledge and project management skills to drive efficiency and compliance within an educational setting.
This new role, reporting to the Manager of Energy & Sustainability, focuses on developing and executing energy efficiency projects. With a background in energy conservation, candidates should excel in data analysis and stakeholder engagement. Your work will contribute to sustainability targets and promote a culture of environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop PDSB’s Energy Conservation and Management Plan
• Manage energy retrofit projects from initiation to completion
• Analyze and report on utility data for conservation
• Ensure compliance with energy regulations and reporting
• Drive campaigns to engage the school community
Requirements:
• University degree in Engineering or related field
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM) mandatory
• 3–5 years in relevant energy management experience
• Knowledge of energy legislation and building systems
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License for site visits
