Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.Job ResponsibilitiesCOMPENSATION RANGE: $90,000 to $100,000General ResponsibilitiesAnalysis of warranty returns, supporting the Quality Engineering team in root cause analysisAnalysis of validation TIR's and support the Validation and Product Engineering teams in root cause analysisGenerate cost save ideas (VAVE) for production productsSupport the manufacturing teams regarding assembly cell equipment needing electronic supportUnderstanding analog, digital circuitry, power electronics and embedded software for automotive exterior lightingProject management of electronic changes in productionManagement of cost and quality of electronic productsMonitor and analyze any product failure. Provide recommendations to Quality EngineeringDevelop and test prototypes to ensure design intent and specifications are satisfiedUnderstand PCB layouts for production designs, and be able to modify using appropriate PCB technologiesUnderstand EMC requirements, and be able to root cause any issuesConduct schematic level circuit simulation for continuous improvement of designsCreate, support and realize benchmark activity linked to electrical designsOther duties, as assignedQualificationsElectrical Engineering degree or equivalent work experienceExperience as an Electronics Engineer, preferably in automotive engineeringStrong and wide
