tender, and construction administration activities, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, site reviews, and deficiency resolution.Coordinate electrical designs across mechanical, structural, architectural, civil, technology, signalling, lighting, and construction management disciplines.Mentor and guide junior engineers and EITs, providing technical direction, quality oversight, and professional development support.Lead small to medium‑sized projects as a senior design engineer and, where appropriate, as a project manager, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resourcing.Support project financial performance through forecasting, progress tracking, and resourcing coordination.The Skills That Set You ApartBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Ontario.7+ years of Canadian experience delivering electrical designs for transportation, building, commercial, or industrial projects.Advanced working knowledge of OBC, OESC, CEC, CSA, NFPA, IEEE, ASHRAE, and IESNA standards.Proven experience completing load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, lighting, and grounding studies.Strong familiarity with transportation authority standards, including GO Metrolinx DRM/DMCA and TTC design manuals and specifications.Demonstrated ability to work independently while leading within a multidisciplinary consulting environment.Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, ACC, Navisworks, MicroStation, and Bluebeam in a digital project delivery setting.Exposure to proposal development, fee estimation, and project financial management is considered an asset.Why Choose WSP?We exist to shape communities to advance humanity.
