As an Electrical Designer, you will report to the Design Services Manager and engage with both external and internal customers, including the Instrumentation and Controls Engineering department. Your expertise in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Inventor will be essential for developing concept designs based on engineering requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed drawings and bills of materials using CAD
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering workplace
• Produce general assembly and wiring diagrams
• Select appropriate instrumentation and power components
• Participate in design reviews and customer meetings
Requirements:
• Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology diploma
• Minimum 5 years of relevant design experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD; Inventor experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
• Competence in control system design processes
