Job Duties
1. Prepare and deliver lessons, lectures, and demonstrations for educational purposes to students and/or staff as may be required.
2. Evaluate and record student progress with the use of assessments, assignments, and observations in accordance with program and institute guidelines.
3. Be flexible and responsive to learner needs through the use of appropriate instructional methodologies in support of a blended learning experience.
4. Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
5. Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment and feedback to students on the required learning platform (BrightSpace)
6. Respond to curriculum/course demands and make necessary adjustments according to learner needs such as adult learning principles.
7. Maintain and update curriculum materials.
8. Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic
9. Engage in career development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements
10. Where required, develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers, supporting students in practical work experience
11. Attend program and school meetings.

1. Bachelor of Education including classes dealing with the exceptional child or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
2. Two years’ recent and relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
