· Demonstrates strong knowledge of early child development

· Demonstrates a good understanding of positive child guidance
\n
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team with a positive approach

· Keen understanding of family centered practice
\n
· Warm, caring and creative
\n
Will be required to complete routine daily chores as part of a team to ensure the heath and safety of the children and the staff in the Centre.
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n· Full Provincial Certification in Early Childhood Care and Education with IT certification\n
· Supervised experience working with families, infant and children.
\n
First Aid/CPR certified (or willing to obtain)
\n
Terms of Employment
\nFull Time, permanent position, 35 hours per week\n
Benefit package available following the successful completion of the probation period.
\n
Clean criminal record check required (vulnerable sector)
\n
· Salary: $ 24.00/hour + $6.00/wage provincial wage enhancement (ECE certified)
\n
