Required Experience

based outings for staff and children; Plan, coordinate and create gardens and other activities for food security with children and staff; Assist with Culture and Language skill development, quality instruction, and in applying high yield teaching strategies; Liaise closely with LLRIB Cree Resource Unit; Balance all aspects of the Cree Culture and Language in program delivery; Provide work plans and progress to supervisor; Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
The suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications/abilities: Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent; Preferred Level 3 ECE (Early Childhood Educator) Diploma Valid First Aid/CPR, WHIMIS and Food Safety Handlers Certificate is an asset; Solid computer skills with knowledge of Computer Software Programs; Personal experience as parent or caregiver of infants and/or young children; Excellent verbal, written communication and public relations skills; Valid Drivers License is considered an asset; Must have ability to speak and understand Cree and have knowledge of Cree Culture; Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check and a Drivers Abstract.
