Position Summary As an HR Generalist, you will play an important strategic role by supporting the HR Manager in the planning and implementation of HR initiatives. You will serve as one of the main points of contact for managers, guiding them through operational challenges and supporting the development of their teams. A significant part of your role will also involve leading HR projects, managing internal HR communications, and coordinating initiatives and events, ensuring everything is effectively planned and executed. In doing so, you will help create a positive employee experience and strengthen the company culture. Responsibilities Develop and maintain solid, lasting relationships that foster growth and trust with managers at various levels within the assigned business groups. Act as a strategic partner in the development and implementation of measures required to address operational challenges, including: Learning and development Change management Employee experience Performance management Provide highly specialized and diverse guidance to managers at all organizational levels. Identify training needs across all departments and contribute to the development and implementation of various training programs and succession planning initiatives. Ensure effective HR communications across all divisions. Lead and execute the group’s various committees (OQLF and Health & Safety). Support the HR Manager in the strategic planning of HR initiatives across all divisions of Groupe Capital Ascot Inc. Collaborate with the Employer Branding and Recruitment Specialist to support the recruitment process and various employer branding initiatives, as needed. Plan and manage various HR projects and initiatives from creation to execution, in collaboration with the HR team. Act as a resource person to respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, processes, and initiatives. Perform any other related duties within your area of expertise. Competencies and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingualism required: French and English (written and spoken). Ability to understand, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies. Experience with Ontario and British Columbia employment standards is considered an asset. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong ability to influence. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent time management skills and proven ability to meet deadlines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist. Member of the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CRHA), an asset. Experience with HRIS systems (e.G., BambooHR, ADP, or similar), an asset.
