The Position:
We are seeking a casual Delivery Driver to deliver meals to schools, our depots, and directly to clients’ doors. Shifts are 4–5 hours, scheduled Monday through Friday, with varying start times between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
As a Delivery Driver, you will operate a Calgary Meals on Wheels–branded vehicle and safely deliver meals weighing up to 50 lbs. You’ll be a delivery hero in the neighbourhoods you serve — bringing smiles to clients each day and providing nutritious meals to vulnerable students.
Position Requirements
· Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
· Strong interpersonal skills – friendly, approachable, and excellent communication
· Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract
· Flexibility and availability
· Time management skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Excellent knowledge of the city and comfortable driving in Calgary downtown core
· Ability to drive large cargo vans
· Clean police clearance and vulnerable sector check
