New Imperial Inn is a community focused apartment building, providing secure areas to socialize, play games, or relax with a coffee and a puzzle. Serving Wetaskiwin for over 10 years.
What’s the Job?
As a Custodian, reporting to the Property Manager, you will ensure the overall cleanliness of the property to the highest level, including the apartment building common areas, suites, and in office laundromat.
Your work will include:
Empty garbage containers, remove waste materials from buildings
Service and clean washrooms
Dust and polish furniture, and keep it arranged properly
Wash and polish glass and windows
Spot wash walls
Vacuum carpets
Vacuum draperies and upholstered furniture
Sweep or damp mop floors
Sweep, wet mop and scrub floors
Other duties and various projects, as requested by the Property Manager
Who are we looking for?
You have a minimum 6 months’ janitorial and/or housekeeping experience.
You have knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment.
Ideally, you have related experience in hotel/institutional environment; commercial cleaning is considered an asset.
You have the ability and desire to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player.
You can stand for a long period of time and lift up to 35 pounds
Job Types: Part time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
