time, contract Shift: days Main Duties: Responsible for taking care of plants which includes: Hand watering, spacing, cloning, pruning, transplanting, leafing, tying, harvesting Inspect plants and bud product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediately Maintain batch records Apply pesticide spray to crop in accordance to licencing regulations Inspect product for deficiencies and report abnormalities to supervisor immediately Follow product labels, determine label rates Clean and disinfect equipment Work cohesively with coworkers Keep a tidy and organized working area and ensure personnel within their team are as well Responsible for communicating and supporting with Cultivation Technicians and/or other Cultivation Personnel of work that is required to be completed on a daily basis Communicate with management Accept processing guidance from Assistant Growers and Master Grower Comply with Quality Assurance SOPs, policies, and guidelines Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA, 2000) Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols while consistently wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe and compliant work setting Follow the Cannabis Act, Cannabis Regulations, and any new revisions Other duties as required Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education.
Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in agricultural or horticultural work Reliable transportation required. A valid pesticide license required.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds, as required.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and withstand exposure to outdoor elements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
