Aventa Treatment Foundation for Women is currently seeking a Counsellor – Full Time, (Addictions) 2 Yrs Exp. (Southwest Calgary) to join their team in Southwest Calgary.

We Need:
Aventa is seeking a motivated, experienced, flexible, Client

up, and crisis management.
3. Ensure proper documentation and management of Client files. This includes observing, recording and reporting on Client progress and challenges, documenting and distributing critical incidents according to policy, completing various forms and documents required for accountability and accreditation purposes, writing case notes, ensuring proper release of information records are in place, and protecting the confidentiality of Client records.
4. Requests/Facilitates case consultations with relevant members of the team to ensure effective assessment, treatment/safety planning and intervention.
5. Attends team meetings and contributes actively to a positive and supportive team environment.
6. Participates in ongoing learning and supervision.
The ideal candidate:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a clinical setting.
· Prior clinical experience providing individual and group therapy a strong asset.
· Knowledge and skill in treatment planning, and group therapy (psycho
