We are looking for a
Corporate Lawyer
to join our Legal team at our head office in Longueuil, Qc.
Role and responsibilities:
Participate in the structuring and execution of corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations);
Manage and update corporate records and minute books for all entities;
Contribute to financing files, including the review and negotiation of legal documents;
Oversee legal aspects related to real estate assets, including commercial leases;
Support the implementation and application of corporate governance best practices;
Provide practical and strategic legal advice to internal teams;
Collaborate with external advisors (notaries, law firms, financial institutions) as required.
What we are looking for:
5 to 7 years experience as a legal advisor in a law firm or corporate company;
Several years of experience in mergers, acquisitions & finance;
Law degree from Accredited University;
Member of a Canadian provincial Bar for over 5 years;
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
Solid skills in risk management
Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and hierarchical levels within the organization;
Bilingualism (French and English) as you will work regularly with internal clients across the country;
Proven ability to communicate with diplomacy when dealing with internal and external clients.
